While the month of December started, we can feel the cold air. This cold breeze of air symbolizes that we are already approaching the celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ---- THE CHRISTMAS DAY..
As the days goes by, Christmas gets closer and closer; Sing christmas songs, light up christmas lights and hang christmas decorations, everybody gets happy and amazed. Some children are starting to go caroling.. Real Essence of Christmas??? Giving, Forgiving, and Loving are only few things that we can give not only to our family and friends but also to everybody.. The only thing that we can give with all our hearts without money----is Giving Love on Christmas Day.. Even a person has no everything, if someone would bring our love, peace and care for him, he would be still happy this Christmas season.

Vigan City Meet
Vigan was declared a City in January 1, 2001. Last November 26-28, 2009, Vigan celebrates the 7th Vigan City Meet.
The opening program which was attended by the coaches, athletes, division officials, teachers from different schools, (both elementary and secondary) which was happen 3:00pm, thursday at Ilocos Sur National High School Centennial Gymnasium. Mr Anselmo Alodino also gave his inspirational talk to the athletes. Athletics, volleyball, basketball, sepak takraw, taekwondo, chess, badminton, and table tennis---- these are only some of the games which was participated by the athletes. In volleyball, both boys and girls, ISNHS team garnered champion and also in basketball. RCY's and CAT's also served for the protection of our dear athletes.
This 3-day City Meet is such a very tiring day especially for the athletes, coaches and those who served as volunteer. It is also enjoyable, especially cheering our ISNHS team in any sport...

AMAZING SECOND GRADING!!!!
After first grading, here second grading also ends again and every grading period, different learnings increase our knowledge. As usual we can encounter different problems, either small or big..
I've learned a lot in second grading, our lessons (HTML) and responsibilities. But one thing that I appreciate in this grading is to be ready at all times. I also encountered problems, one of these are, we have so many activities to prepare and to participate for it. And we all know that it's hard to have a double or trip[le duties. So I feel like dying everyday because of those such activities and programs that we attend. Because of tropical storm Pepeng also, our classes and plans destroyed, delayed. That's why we have no Semestral Break (which most students hate it), our intramurals postfoned also for how many times and the worst of all, we can't attend our regular classes that's why we are rushing for our periodical test and projects...
I can say that my experience in this grading is so troublesome. But I'm glad, I still survive to deal with it. We must always be ready for any unforseen events in our life. Because it's hard to rush.... Like me, rushing reviewing periodical test and doing projects just to meet the deadline. But I still thank God for the job well dopne..

Doctors, dentists, nurses, engineers, architectures, policemen, lawyers-----some leading professionals. How can they be professionals without the super ones...?---who could help us for our studies.
Thoughtful Elegant Active Cheerful Helpful Excellence Reliance-- that's our teacher. Once we heard schools, teachers always come to our mind, because they are our second parents here in school,--who teaches us and gives us knowledge from pre-school up to college. Teachers knows all the things just for us and for the sake of our studies.. They do their best, their duties just for we students and they sacrifices a lot especially time for their families..
So, let's thank them for without them, maybe we still don't know our ABC's 123's and other information.. And most of all, without them, maybe we are still uncivilized until now..

fiLipiNO LanGuaGE; kEY fOr NatiONaL IDentiTY...
Can you ever identify your national identity if we used only one language all over the world? Because in every language, we can identify one's identity. All of the countries here in the world have their own national language and identity...
We always use the Filipino language everyday for communication here in the Philippines. We considered "FILIPINO" as our national identity. In the theme "Filipino Language: Key for National Identity" states that our language is the key to identify our national identity because it is our national language, that's why we use it everyday... We can also use our national language everywhere, for example: if we go to other countries and we use Filipino language to speak with them, and because of that they can easily identify that we are Filipino...
So we must be proud of our identity and develop for better future.. Don't be shy, instead be honoured for it... because we are really the native of the Philippines..

i LOvE t.L.e. IV
What would it be if we are not updated with all the happenings in the world? TLE IV--- Technology and Livelihood Education where we can learn, gain more knowledge about technologies using one of the most useful product of technology, the computer which can help us to be updated all over the world.
I have so many learnings and experiences for the first quarter- I've learned the history and uses of internet, how to create a blog account, how to post a blog and how to join different groups in the internet world. I discover that it's easy to manipulate a computer using the internet as long as we learn and use it with all our heart. Can we ever enjoy our life having no problems? Everyone of us have our own problems that we may encounter as we go on with our life. One of my problem in subject TLE is how can I ever deal or manage in using computers. I can't deny that I have less knowledge in surfing the internet. But as I surf the internet with the help of my classmates, I found it easy. I also believe in the quotation ''watch and learn'' because I only watch my classmates surfing the internet and as moer experiences, I learned and gain my knowledge in surfing the internet as I watch them. I try my best to deal with the computer. If I have mistakes, I just ignore and I will try again until I used it correctly and perfectly.
So, I can only say, in times of problems, don't ever forget to pray to GOD, never ever give up and don't lose hope in facing those problems and let's take it as a challenge in our life......

SpEaK in EnGLisH Or FiLiPinO ProPErLy With KiNdNEss
Can you ever imagine people communicating with different languages?? Well, if that's happen everyone of us can't understand ideas with each other. Every country have their own language for communication. And we can also use the International Language, the English Language.
"Speak in English or Filipino Properly with Kindness" is a very popular quotation in our campus, ISNHS. This quotation aims to develop and gain more knowledge in speaking English or Filipino appropriately and accurately in a proper way and pleasant to hear. It can help us also in the near future, we can use it to reach our goals and to attain our jobs.Sometimes we're wrong grammar and our fellow schoolmates and classmates laugh at us, it's only natural, nobody's perfect. Just ignore them, so what!!! chin up and that's only a proof that we are really trying our best.
So, we must support this for our own good. Even if a person can speak English or Filipino fluently but he/she use it in unpleasant way, it's useless. We must use this languages with all our heart and soul.

KEEPING UP GOOD HEALTH
What would it be if we are not in a good health? Can we ever goes on with our life? Health is important to our life and as we go on with our life, we do not know what may happen.
This month of July, we celebrate nurition month which themed: "Wastong Nutrition, Kailangan Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan". This theme serves an instrument or qoute to learn and apply our knowledge to the theme. It also states that we must give importance to our nutrition, maintain our good health and prevent diseases that may cause death. We can maintain our good health by exercise, eating balanced diet, eating healthy and nutritious foods (like go, grow and glow foods), taking vitamins, drink plenty of water and many more.
I believe in the saying "Health is Wealth" because health can also help us to attain our goals. How can we ever achieve our goal in life if we are sickly? Sometimes having not in good health, maybe one of the hindrances to achieve our goals. So, we must give importance and maintain our good health to prevent diseases.
